Our two-man team arrived at the Haikou Exhibition & Convention center, where the WESG 2017 World Finals is about to start.

The final WESG 2017 event kicked off with an opening ceremony involving players from multiple esports titles which will be competing in China over the course of this week. Following the opening, the first CS:GO group stage will take place, utilizing a BO1 round robin format.

Two teams from each group, a total of 16 teams, will advance into the second group stage, which will be played as a round robin BO2. The final phase will follow after that, with the eight best teams reaching the BO3 playoff stage.

HLTV.org's two-man team composed of Zvonimir "Professeur" Burazin and Lucas Aznar Miles has already arrived at the venue and will be bringing you coverage from the event over the coming days.
