Golden ruled out for ECS Season 6 Finals; valens to stand in

For the second time in one month, Cloud9's coach will fill in for Maikil "Golden" Selim, who will miss the entirety of the Texas event because of ongoing health issues, FACEIT have confirmed to HLTV.org.
Golden will miss action at the second event in a row, as the Swedish in-game leader also sat out the first day of matches at BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen 2018 earlier this month.
The 24-year-old came back to play on the second day in the Danish capital, but FACEIT have now confirmed to HLTV.org that he will also miss the ECS Season 6 Finals in Arlington, Texas due to health issues. Standing in for the Swede will be Cloud9's coach Soham "valens" Chowdhury, who also took over in Copenhagen.

In spite of retiring as a player in 2015, valens held his own at BLAST Pro Series, as the 29-year-old garnered a 0.93 rating over two maps, including a best-on-one win against MIBR.
After the first day of matches, valens said in an interview with HLTV.org that he still plays a lot with teammates and friends, and also stated that he believes the best way of being a coach is to "keep playing the game, stay up to date with the meta.".
With Golden ruled out for the ECS Season 6 Finals, Cloud9 will field the following lineup in Texas:
Robin "flusha" Rönnquist
Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey
William "RUSH" Wierzba
Timothy "autimatic" Ta
Soham "valens" Chowdhury
